Completion of Victory highway from Lovelock to th rtato lino, is scheduled for October 25. This date hae been fixed by the division engineer here, owing to the progress made bv tha r crews working at the sector, a stretch of ten miles, and at Silver Zone, a stretch of four miles. Both sectors have been graded and graveling is now under way there. All that remains is resurfacing of about four miles between Elko and Carlin. The big gravel plant, nine miles west of Elko, has been shut down for repairs for a few days. Resurfacing will then continue and will be completed in another week. Notwithstanding the lack of moisture, the Victorv highway is standing up well this vear and with the comoletion of these two sectors the highway will present to motorists an excellent ptxo, the Utah-Xvd- John L.'
