Edlenna Miller Simsonsen Mrs. CASTLE DALE Edlenna Miller, 36, wife of L. Wood Miller, died at her home Monday morning between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m. Edlenna was bom in Blanding, Utah, December 18, 1941, a daughter of Edwin Z. and Ardell Palmer Black. Mrs. Miller was first married to Richard C. Miller. To them two sons were born, Neuman Richard, 11, and Timothy Carlyle, 9. Her husband died in 1969. On April 3, 1970, she was married to L. Wood Miller and to this union a son and daughter were born, Tera Lynn 5, and Shane Palton Flossie Irene FERRON Simonsen, 78, died May 22, 1977, in a nursing home. She was bom May 26, 1898, Emery, Utah to Alfred Joseph and Annie Anderson Broderick. Married Archie B. Simonsen, June 4, 1917, in Emery, Utah. Marriage later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died June 25, 1940. She was bedfast for 27 years. Survivors: daughters: sons and Max, Manti; Morris, Gabbs, Nevada; Mrs. Clyde (Melva) Funk, Ferron; Allene Christiansen, Mountain View, California; Beverly Rich, Missoula, Montana; Mrs. (Lucine) Clyde Young, Lakeside, Arizona; a son, Keith, was killed in the U.S. Army, May 21, 1945; 20 grandchildren; one brother and three sisters. Funeral services will be Thursday, 1 p.m. in the Ferron LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale, Wednesday 8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment in Emery City Cemetery. 3 4. She is survived by the above four mentioned children and the following step sons and daughters: Jerry Bruce Miller, Evanston, Wyom.; Mrs. Bruce (Thea Nulien) Nicodemus, Manivato, Calif.; Tresa Ann Miller, Price; her mother; one sister, Mrs. Clisbee (Naida) Black, Blanding; 4 brother, Palmer Black, California; Timothy, and Jeffrey, both Salt Lake City; and Ted, Canada. At time of writing funeral services were tentatively set to be held, Thursday morning in the LDS Castle Dale First Ward Chapel.
