She keeps active in the, summer as the recreational technician for the Cleveland-LloyDinosaur Quarry. She drives to the quarry five days a week to help the tourists that come there. She has been a naturalist all her life and has been a member of the Audubon Society since she was 6 years old. She keeps records of bird migration for the society which are used by the Wildlife Resources and the Fish and Wildlife Service. inShe was also strumental in setting up the Emery County Museum which opened its doors seven years ago.
