Show V Sports Calendar METS ON THEIR TOES In case you feel the Mets have not been playing baseball on their toes this year, be sure to tune in CBS Sunday afternoon (Sept. 26, 5 p.m.EDT.Two Mets, Tom Seaver and Jerry Grote, will join Edward Villella, New York City Ballet star, in the Dance of the Athletes, a one-hospecial. CBS tells us this show points up the areas of athleticism which are shared by sports figures and dancers, discussing the human body and its potential for tough physical I 6: ur training. Seaver and Grote will not be the only athletes. Also joining the Dance of the Athletes will be Bob Griese (Miami Dolphins), Virginia Wade (tennis star), George McGinnis (Philadelphia 76ers) and Muriel Grossfield (Olympic gymnast). Villella will call the signals. J 6: 7 GARDEN PARTY NBCs Big Event this Sunday night (Sept. 26) will include, along with part one of Earthquake," something titled The Big Party. This is a Garden party, fans, because it comes from Madison Square Garden, and it will include, we're told, great sports personalities of the past and present who will be invited to honor Muhammad AM and Ken Norton before their championship fight Sept. 28. Says Mike Burke, president of the Garden, "Famous personalities from every quarter of the sports world will be dining and dancing and will be stylishly entertained the gents in black ties and their ladies in everything good to look at.
