Show Thursday. Nov. County Progress 27, 1975 Nursing Home Ferron Relief Society was held afternoon at the Emery County Nursing Home under the leadership of Mrs. Wanda Jenkins. The Lesson was presented by Mrs. Patricia Albrecht. There will be a work day meeting held Monday the 24th and the Emery Ward will be in charge of the lesson on the 8th of December. The lesson will be on Denmark Visiting with her parents recently was Mrs. Susan Young and children of Salt Lake City. Ivan and LaVer were also recent visitors in the Salt Lake area Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Huntsman and family have moved their mobile home onto the property they purchased from Mr and Mrs. Walter Ralphs There are five very attractive duplix now under construction and will soon be ready for occupancy. They are owned by Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Stanton. Home after spending several months away for his employment are Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Jewkes. There was a large crowd of young people that joined the rest of Emery County High School Band and traveled by chartered bus to Disney Land this week, where they marched and played a concert. Those in charge of this tremendous accomplishment are to be highly complimented for the many man hours that have been spent. We in Emery County have some great and wonderful ' V 7' ; ' parents of a baby girl. The little miss tipped the scales at a big nine lbs. and three ounces Her lucky grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Leo Koopmans of Salt Lake City and Bryant and Gladys Nelson of Ferron The little Miss will celebrate her birthday on November 1 1th. She made her debut at the Carbon Hospital. Doris and Hugh Behling visited her mother Reva at the L.D S Salt Lake and Hospital report that she will soon be able to return home. Kenneth and Lydia Easton and Wareham, Delma Leslie and Brant and Gladys Nelsen all enjoyed a trip to Lake Powell, Hunter in Blanding, Hole in the Rock the Arches and other places of interest in Southern Utah. Those attending the Tri-Stat- e Nursery Seminiar in Price, Saturday and participating in a skit were Mrs. Mary Young, who is Emery Stake Nursery Leader, VaRee Dale, ViAnn Niebergall, Karen Barton, Ann Riley; Evelyn Huntsman. Tonette Thomas, Barabra Hassard. The skit was such a success according to Mrs. Young that they are going to present it in Ferron in the very near future. Ferron Ward Confrence is to be held on the 30th of November. State visitors will attend meetings during the day. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. Music will be furnished by the Ward Choir under the direction of Mrs. Anita Mower. and Mrs. Don Petersen have received word from their son, John, that he has accepted a two year assignment and will be in London, England with the navy as photo journalist. He is living with a boy from Sweden. He has been appointed president of the Aaranic Priesthood and is enjoying both his work in the Navy and with the Church in that area. The Gold and Green Ball will be held December the 13th with a floor show at 10 p.m. featuring a waltz by the Young Marrieds under the tutorship of Mrs. Catherine Steele. The young people will also present a couples dance as well as an all girls number. This is under the direction of Karen Thomas and JoAnn Crawford. The Primary will once again take out their annual Thanksgiving baskets to all the homebound and to the Emery County Nursing Home. Each child was asked to bring 10 cents to purchase fruit and each officer and teacher baked goods, made candy etc. Lenard and Leola Larsen were Salt Lake Vistiors during the week. Mrs. Kid stuff. She reports the weather much colder in Idaho. William Guymon visited with friends and relatives, Sunday. His daughter, Uneta and husband Mar Grange, brought him to church where he could visit his former associates. The Guymon family lived here several years ago and he was a teacher and his children attended local schools. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Jensen were Salt Lake City visitors the past weekend. Members of their family reside in the capital city area. Mrs. LaPreal Chrissman is in Salt Lake City this week to undergo medical tests. She has a married daughter living there. Mrs. Wells (Loriel) Allred of Washington state is here for a time to help in the home while her mother, Mrs. Hal (Lucille) were High Councilman Mar and Lyle Reynolds. A group of young ladies rendered a beautiful selection of songs and the ward choir also sang a special number. Bishop Rue P. and Mrs U. Rue Ann, city, and another daughter, Lorie, attending Weber State daughter, Grange in the working College. of the youth from w'ith the Emery High School band on the trip to Disneyland. Many of our young married couples are finding employment here and are enjoying new homes.
