Editor: There is beautiful thing happening in the schools here. Some new refreshing, modern and extremely well educated people are coming back to teach here and it just has to be the best thing that ever happened to our beautiful Castle Country in a long, long time. Some of the teachers are indeed as modern in their thinking as the ones coming back from school, but most of the older ideas should be filed away far, far back on the shelves and forgotten. It is a lovely thing to watch these new teachers at work; they surely know what its all about. One of the new ideas is the student does not have to stick to a rigid routine such as having to go outside at each and every recess and noon hour. Maybe the child does not feel like going outside, or maybe the parent is tired of having prescription after prescription filled and seeing their children suffer from colds and fever; maybe the teacher would like to pay a few of those bills for them ! ! $ think the worst thing of all is to have the teached deny having told the child to go out When three little children ages six and seen tell me a teacher And 1 said "outside" then I believe the children. John Especially they are from different grades and did not even know what the other child told and their stones matched But, this is some of the Old system we will be if away i Funk and Brenda Mr. and Mrs. Reed M.
