Fifteen or twenty years ago newspapers all across the country were running articles about the polio epidemic. They were reporting the children who died from polio and about the children who lived but were crippled for life There is no reason for any such article to appear m any newspaper today and there is no reason w'hy we Dr Ray MD, Cowley, of Directoi the Southeastern Utah Health District said, Just because we havent had a major of epidemic polio or measles in the last few years doesnt mean than we have eliminated these diseases from our society "To believe this would cieate a false sense of security that could lead to a dangerous epidemic The only reason there has not been a serious epidemic in the last few years is because of the high number of ehildien who were in the past If we want to keep polio and measles out of our community then parents must have their children immunized In the last ten years the immunization levels for have children been decreasing ch astmally They very are now of Members the graduating class of 1937 l at enjoyed a the Carbon Country Club on Saturday, May 24, 1975, dinner-socia- Puce, Utah This was the third reunion foi this class A Program Committee functioned for the first time this year undei the direction of Grant and Norwood Bertha McElprang Jones The entertainment which was well organized and most enjoyable was given by Spnngville residents and close tnends of the Norwoods It included a variety (humorous and serious) of narration with the very best m steieo sound for background door prize drawing proved lucky for Vernece Vacation Clothes For The Whole Family Wells of Cleveland As is past procedure, a brochure, giving resume and present address of AT Massey individual members by Wilma C Shiner, was presented to each member Assignments were made for follow-uefforts in locating those members whose addresses are unknown prepared Apparel Shop p 45 Main E.
