Show Green Rivor News EMERY H Bethany Chapter No 9, Order of the Eastern Star, Green River were hosts on Friday to the members and officers of the Grand Chapter of Utah. Honored guests were the Worthy Grand Matron Lois M. Rots and the Associate Grand Officers of Utah. The memben were entertained at a banquet at the American Legion Hall preceding the meeting. Receiving the guests were Mn Noreen Wilson, Worthy Matron and Mr. Roy May; and memben and officen of Bethany Chapter. The Green River Civic League met at the home of Mn Carolyn Wilson for a luncheon meeting, Officen elected for the coming year were Mn Dorothy Nelson, president; Mrs Sylvia Peterson, first vice president; Mn Julie Wilcox, second vice president; Mn Iona Ekker, secretary and Mn Phyllis Ibbotson, treasurer, Mn, for Corothy Nelson acted as the afternoon. H Students from Green River High School achieving the honor roll for the completion of the third term were: 12th grader Steve Raff. Jody Jim Baker, Paula Howland; 11th grade: Conra Weber, Robyn Baggs, Kirk Dunham, Janet Halt, 10th grader Rodney Silliman, Kevin Price; 9th grader Neal Ekker, Paul Glazner, Robyn Wee, Susan Godron, J. D. Ba narky, Debbie Curtis, Melody Mecham, Craig Peterson, Shelly Thompson; 8th grade: Pearl Wilcox, Deanna Burns, Doris Conklin, Regi Weihing, David Erickson Robbie Howland; 7th grader Terri Wilcox, Jeane Wilcox, Bart Hansen, Tam-m- ie Peacock, Paul Grych, Scott Banas-k- y, Kam Weihing. Sin Clair Thompson, Tommy Hastings and Glen Woodworth were in SLC last week and returned on Sunday again where they were called on business for the State of Utah. Mr and Mrs Kenneth Silliman took their daughter Jann to SLC Sunday where she boarded a plane for Longview, Washington. Miss Silliman has been spending the past ten days from her teaching position there. Mrs Grace Peterson accompanied them home. She has been spending the Easter holiday with her son Bill and family at Dugway. Mr and Mrs George Mayers left last week for their home in Illinois. Mr Jerrold R. Hanson and family spent the Easter weekend in Idaho with Bea's brother and family. Jerrold remained in SLC where he will now be employed with Mountain Fuel Supply Company.
