Law Maurene Mask BIRTHDAY CLUB The Birthday club ladles of Fer-ro-n held their meeting Thursday afternoon, June 11 at the home Mr. and Mrs. Clate W. Mask, El Pasot Texas, announce the engagement of their daughter Maureen, to Lamont VV. Law, son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy W. Law of Orangeville. The wedding date has been set for September 5 in the Manti LDS Temple. A reception will honor the newlyweds the same evening In the Orangeville LDS recreation hall. Miss Mask now employed at State National Bank, is a graduate from Ysleta high school where she was active in girls recreation association, glee club and Senior Follies. She is also a licensed beautician. Mr. Law is a graduate of South Emery high school and is now serving in the U.S. Army and stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas. After his discharge from the army, Mr. Lato plans on attending an Electrical Engineering school in the east. The young couple and members of Miss Masks family from El Paso will be guests at the home of Lamont's parents for the wedding and reception. 50th Wedding Anniversary Albrechtson -- Evans United in Marriage . . . Lewis Edward (Eddie) Albrechtson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis and Sharon Evans, Albrechtson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Evans of Price were married Saturday evening at the home of the bride. Bishop Forrest Peterson officiated at the ceremony. Douglas Snow, a cousin of the groom from California, was best man, and Mrs. Sharron Milton was matron of honor. Immediate family members and close friends enjoyed the wedding cake and light refreshments. The newly weds left Monday for Tujuana, Calif, where Eddie has employment. Open house will be held from 4. to 7 p.m. at their home in Castle Dale. Mr. and Mrs. Jensen were married July 7 1909 at Castle Dale. They lived the first year of their marriage in Price, and have since resided in Castle Dale. Mrs. Jensen was bom in Spring City, Sanpete County, January 7, 1890 to Joseph P. Lund and Emma C. Adler. She moved to Castle Dale when she was two 'years old. She has been active in ward and stake choirs; organized and played in a harmonica band, held positions in Primary and Relief Society, being a visiting teacher for 43 years. She has won many blue ribbons on different entries at the Emery County Fair. Mr. Jensen was born February 27, 1885, at Castle Dale, to John Y. Jensen ard Sarah Nielson. He drove a team of four horses from Price to Emery to deliver the U.S. Mail; and operator of was a of Castle Gate, were married Saturday evening in a church ceremony in Castle Gate. Pres. Frank L. Hall officiated at the ceremony, which was attended by family members and close friends. A reception and dance followed the wedding. Gifts and the brides trousseau were displayed' in the Relief Society room. Refreshments were served at small tables arranged in rooms near the recreation hall. Sharpe is a graduate of South Emery high school and has served in the Armed Forces in Japan. He has a shoe repair shop in Castle Dale where he serves customers throughout the county. Mrs. LuRene Swinburne was in charge of the wedding book and Mr. Swinburne was master of ceremonies for the program.
