Show EMERY COUNTY (UTAH) PROGRESS November 20, 1958 Miss Loy Bawden, Gary Hansen Wed A Wedding reception was held in Miss DeAnn Peacock, Formerly of Ferron Weds Tooele Man in Salt Lake Rites Dexter Whipple repealed vows Saturday afternoon, November 8, in a ceremarriage mony performed at the Reception Center in Salt Lake City. Bishop Quintin V. Christensen, Bishop of Murray Tenth Miss DeAnn Peacock and R. aui, officiated. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Peacock of Murray, formerly of Ferron. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Dewey A. Whipple of Tooele. The bride was lovely in a floor length gown of lace over net. The bodice was fashioned with long pointed sleeves and boat neckline. The lace over skirt was underscored in net and the elbow length veil of imported illusion flowed from a tiara of pearls and sequins, the carried as a bouquet, a white orchid surrounded by yellow roses. Sandra Nelson, cousin of the Iide, attended as maid of honor; Evelyn Peacock, Doris Whipple, Dixie Watkins and Jean Brimhall, All were served as bridesmaids. dressed in street length dresses in autumn shades and they carried umbrella baskets filled with autumn shade chrysanthemums. Dewey Whipple Jr. acted as best man for the groom. The mother of the bride wore an street length embroidered silk sheath of beige, while the mother of the groom were a sheath of autumn color. Ushers were Paul Peacock, Richard Whipple and Ben Harvey. A reception was held in the evening at the Reception Center. This is the first time since their mother died in 1039, that they had been together. Nelson was 80 years old tnis year. His daughters, Bertha of Riverton, Amelia of Salt Lake City and Ethelyn of California, prepared a dinner for all the family, and the remainder of the day was spent visiting, enjoying a program and games. Nelson and his wife Mae, who formerly lived at Lawrence, are feeling pretty well and enjoying their home in Riverton. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Arnold spent Friday night and Saturday with Mrs. Mae Arnold.
