The bride was Marva DeFriez, of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Jones of Huntington. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Karl A. Peterson of Price. Ted Peterson, a brother, was best mail; Mrs. Jim Nelson, a sister of tne bride, was matron of honor and bridesmaids were Glenna Jones, Dixie Bass and Pat Brasher. The young couple will live in Provo where Mr. Peterson will at. tend school. daughter Miss Miss Charlotte Nielsen, Bevan Young Tell Vows Saturday; Reception Held Miss Charlotte Nielsen and Bevan Young repeated marriage vows Saturday afternoon, September 27, in a ceremony performed in the garden at the Nielsen home. Bishop Eric Nielsen of Clawson, uncle of the bride, officiated. The bride is a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Harry S. Nielsen of Fer-roParents of the groom are Mr. ana Mrs. Guy Young of Hunting-ton- . n. The bride was lovely in a full length gown of tulle and lace. The sweetheart neckline was set off by an insert of tulle and a petite mandarin collar and the fingertip veil flowed from a beaded tiara. She carried a bouquet of pink roses. Attendants were Barbara Nielsen, matron of honor; Judy Conklin, maid of honor; Sandra Christensen, Sylvia Childs and Carol Ralphs, bridesmaids. All were dressed in waltz length gowns of pink organza. John Nielsen, brother of the bride, was ring bearer. Clyde Conover acted as best man for the groom. A reception was held Saturday evening in the school auditorium. The young couple, together with their parents and attendants, greeted a large number of friends and relatives during the evening. An interesting program was presented after which the bride and groom The officers of the North Emery chapter of the Parent Teacher Association and the teachers of North Emery high school will hold its first meeting of the season, Wednesday, October 8, at 8:00 p.m. President Marie Cowley and Principals Gail Kinder and Mar Grange have arranged for an interesting program to be presented. Rue Ware, instructor of the drivers Education, along with Jack Jarvie, arts and crafts instructor, will make up the principal parts of the program.
