Max is in the service and has time to participate in church activities. He is in the Mission Presidency and Sydonia is in the Primary. Mr and Mrs Orval Allen and (hiid of Salt Lake City visited this week with their parents. Mr and Mrs Stanley Allen and Mr and Mrs Varian Box, ana friends. Mr and Mrs George Spillman and baby of Tacoma, Wash are due here Saturday to visit her parents, Mr and Mrs Foster Allridge, and also to visit her sister and husband, Mi and Mrs Bill Stotesiberry. Young people home over the week end were Ann Killpack and Joyce Petersen of Salt Lake City and Vona Dean Ralphs, Dorone Dugmore and Harold and Earl Cox from Carbon College at Price. Mr and Mrs Clayton Bearnsen and family have moved here from Helper and expect to make this their home. They are living at present in the Clara Sing litton home. James A Petty, son of Mr and Mrs Lloyd Petty, felt last Friday after having sipent 30 days on leave from the service. He went to Seattle where he is in the Air Corps. Our Ward Relief Society Bazaar is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 20 and a Ward Banquet will be held that same evening for everyone in the Ward. The Castle Dale and Ferron Bridge Club members with their partners met at the home of Mrs Annie Funk Saturday eve ning, Nov. 13 and had' a special banquet and played bridge. Mr and Mrs Zane Taylor and children of Provo were here over the week end visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs Carl Lar sen. The men folks went pheasant hunting.
