Student government, athletics, achievements and and publications were discussed. They brought back some very good ideas to the G. River High School by Barbara Baldwin A unique combination of fine music and brilliant pageantry were offered to the school on Friday, November 6. It was pre sented by five outstanding pro R. H. S. Green Pep Club initiation went ov. er as a howling success. Those who were the victims were a little leary when they were forced to bring a bowel, bar of soap, and! a scrubbing brush. But their worries were all in vain. The Pep Club is thrilled to receive twelve new members. PTA will be held Thursday the 15th. Musical numbers will be rendered by three high school students, Jimmy Dean, Ila Mae Tidwell, and Barbara Baldwin. Mr Carroll is in charge of these numbers. South Emery High School Shauna Curtis, Reporter Parents Day for the parents of students of the South Emery High School will be observed on Thursday, November 15, according to B. A. Jensen, Prin-ciuand Mtonteli Seely, Student Body President. At this time all parents are cordially invited to come to the High School and participate in a planned program of activities. This program, according to Mr Jensen, will consist of the regular six class periods which will be shortened to one half hour each. At twelve oclock the parents will be the guests of the High School and have lunch at the school lunch center. At the South Emery student Body will sponsor an assembly in which parents and students will participate. It is hoped that all parents will take advantage of this opportunity to visit their High School as students for a day.
