One of these developments was the report of discovery of uranium beds in an entirely new area east of the old Rueklmrii reservoir, in the Celar Mountain area. A test load of five tons of ore from this new bed brought $ 113.00 at the Monticcllo plant. While this dloes not rep resent a rich ore, it is declared to be good commercial ore, promising a profit to its exploiters because of its ac cessihility and uniformity. The ore beds are to he mined by Frank Jones, Elmo, it is reported. Publicity of the new find will undoubtedly result in a flurry of prospecting in other areas that have hitherto been Second development is the leasing of two claims near the San Rafael Bridge, held by the Olsen Brothers of Wattis, by the Nielsen-Larsc- n Mining Co. of Huntington. Ore from these claims have tested-overy well at the processing mill, according to J. L. Larsen, one of the mining firm. Equipment vas being moved onto the site the forepart of this week, and it was expected that road work would be finished this week and production of ore would he started next week. Both at the Nielsen-Larse- n workings and at the Blade Warrior site nearby, men will he employed, beginning soon, as fast as they can profitably be used. Third development is the recent cooperative action of uranium ore producers to stop certain practices or procedures in grading of ore that have allegedly resulted in low money returns to the producers.
