Woodwara celebrated her 8Sth birthday on Sunday, November 18, with some of her children being present. A hot dinner was served with a beautiful cake for a center piece. Those present were Mr and Mrs Ed Woodward of Helper, Bishop and Mrs John H. Taylor, Orangeville, Mr and Mrs George Taylor and son Bruce of Orangeville, Mrs Donna Luke, Mrs Dora World and children of Price. There were four generations present at the dinner. Mrs Woodward is an immigrant from Denmark and an early settler in Castle Valley, coming here in '1879 from Fountain Green with her husband and two sons. She has alweys been a diligent Latter Day Saint, and is the mother of nine children. Her husband died twenty six years ago.
