As guest at the Homer Edwards, home last Wednesday night, was his nephew, Paul wards, of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Larser and children spent last Sunday afternoon in Orangeville at he home 'of Mrs. Larsens mother, Mrs. Misha Scovill. Mrs. Naomia Edwards gave the lesson in Relief Society meeting Tuesday. Lunch was served by Retta Olsen and Jesse Olsen. Monday at one oclock the funeral for Mrs. Elizabeth Larsen was held in the ward chapel conducted by Bishop G. L. Olsen. The first song was by the choir, Beautiful Home; prayer, Peter Jensen; song, Mrs. Eunice Larsen. That Wonderful Mother of Mine; a tribute, written by Mrs. Virtue Anderson1, was read by Mrs. Wynona Olsen; Mrs. Eva Jensen, accompanied by Mr. on the violin, sang Resignation. Darwin Brinnerhofi was the next speaker, followed by a song Beautiful Isle of Somewhere, By Mrs. Elam Freaerick-soThe last speaker was Isaac Allred. Bisnop Olsen gave the closing remarks and the closing Sometime Well Undersong, stand, by the choir. Benediction was by Wilford Broderick and the grave was dedicated by Aus tin Olsen. Mrs. Larsen was a lover of beautiful flowers and each of the speakers, remarked that never had there been a more beautiful display of flowers than at this funeral. The Relief Society conference was held here Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Edvon Torgerson and family are Emery visitors. They were called more than three years ago to fill a mission In the Manti Temple. They have been very faithful workers, even though Mr. Torgenson has been in poor health. Of late his condition has been very much improved. Mrs. Delbert Lott of Manti. is making her home in Emery this winter. She will teach the seventh and eighth grades. L MOLEN Mrs. Lucy Nielson returned to her home here Friday after a few days visit combined with business with relatives in Price and Dragerton. She reports that her nephew Alma Chistensen of Dragerton had the misfortune last Monday of tearing a jaggea hole in his foot when he jumped from the back of a large truck onto a pile of loose lumber, in a piece of which was a large nail. It pierced his foot thru tne sole of his miner's shoe. Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Sulpea-ziof Kenilworth, and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Kantor of Helper were the week end guests of Mrs. Bertha Beach. Clifton Nelson is back doing chores on his ranch after a brief visit in Montana, where he attended the funeral of his sister. Reed Chistensen was a short time business visitor here Monday. He left his wife and baby in Cleveland visiting her bedridden brother LaVon Cramer, who was being taken to a Salt Lake hospital. for treatment to his injured hip, sustained last April at track meet.
