Pleasant, March 4, 1864, to Jens Christen and Maria Peterson Gunderson, he resided there until moving to Huntington 13 years ago. His wife preceded him in death. Surviving are two sons, Chas. Gunderson of Huntington and Virgil Gunderson of Sun Valley, Idaho; four daughters, Mrs. E. R. Bennett of Needles, Calif.; Mrs. Ivan Simmons of Salt Lake City, Mrs. W. A.
