Show UONSCLUB MEETING THURSDAY, MAR. 16 Next regular semi-monthly dinner din-ner and business meeting of the Bingham Canyon Lions Club is scheduled for next Thursday night, March 16th, 6:30 p.m. at the Civic Center, reports C. A. Morley, publicity pub-licity chairman. All members are uried to be present. STATE CONVENTION The Lions state convention will be held at St. George on May 4-5-6, it is announced. LIONS NOMINATE OFFICERS AT MARCH 2nd MEETING At the last meeting of the Bingham Bing-ham Canyon Lions Club held Thursday, March 2, the nominating ct mmittee, consisting of W. H. Harris, chairman, John J. Creedon, Kim Goff and C. A. Morley, presented pre-sented to the club their list of officer offic-er nominations for the year 1961-62. 1961-62. Nominees include: for president, Verio Kendrick; first vice president, Edwin W. Johnson; second vice president, Joseph L. Murano; third vice president, Sam Feraco; secretary-treasurer, Ross M. Cushing; Lion tamer, Dr. Jqseph V. Pistone; tail twister, Kim Goff; Jack Tallas and Joe Dispenza, two-year directors. direc-tors. R. O. Chapman and Shirl Scroggin are holdover directors and I Pete Dimas ex officio director. i Election of officers will take place at tho first meeting in April. I Visitors at last week's meeting were Albert Zenger from Glendale Park Lions Club, campaigning for governor of District 28-T, accompanied accom-panied by his campaign manager Jim Plant. |
