Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Glen and Sabra had two daughters, Carol Sue and DeEtte On April 6, 1942 wtule giving birth, both Sabra and Baby David died. Glen married Nila Albrecht on June 18, 1943 in the Manti Temple Ten children were born of that damage. Their posterity includes 62 grandchildren, 42 superintendent, bishop in both Salma and Muab High Council member in Moab and Orem and served as Windsor Stake Patriarch. Glen and Nila served a mission to the Philippines in 1986 1988 Glen is survived by his wife, Nila and his 12 children; Carol and 5 great-gre- n -- grandchildren. Glen was drafted into the U S. Navy for World War II in 1944. He served as company clerk on the U.S.S. St. Louis and was honorably discharged on Oct. 31, 1945. Glen was a hard worker and always had three or four jobs at a time. He worked in the First State Bank of Salma and served as Salma City Recorder. In 1950 he moved the family to Moab where he worked for First National Bank which later became First Security Bank. Glen was a key figure in the Moab community His many official civic positions included, president of the Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, and chair of the Grand County Chapter of the American Red Cross. He was a trustee of Allen Memorial Hospital for more than five years and was a member of the city planning commission. As his children got older, he wanted them to have college educations, so he moved the family to Orem where he continued to work as vice president of First Security Bank. He was an active commember of the Orem-Prov- o munity. He served aa chair of several chanty dnves including Red Cross, Polio, United Way and Heart Fund. He was a member of the Provo Chamber of Commerce, Sue (Frank) Prows, DeEtte Carter, Glenda (Dennis ) Nordfelt, Dick (Viekey) Carlson, Margo (Kendall) Harward, Jenette (Gil) Savage, Kendal (Arlene ) Carlson, Fred (Charlene) Carlson, Debbie (Doug) Lang, Wendy (Kent) Mortensen, Kerry (Paul) Mansfield and Rob (Lisa) Carlson. He was preceded in death by wife. Pearl Sabra Jensen, son David, Frank Prows, grandson David Prows, granddaughter Kirstin Tuttle, brother Rex Carlson, sister Evelyn Enckson and sister Edna Carlson. Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001 in the Windsor Fourth Ward Chapel, 1875 North 280 West, Orem. son-in-la- w Burial was in the Orem City etery. Cem- Special thanks to staff of Horizon Home Health and Harmony Home Health and Hospice for the loving care provided the last few weeks of his life.
