Mrs. Jones. Chloe Maughan, Mrs. Mrs. Emma Nelson and Sarah Baxter. A social afternoon was enjoyed. Mrs. Rose Bankhead was called to Paradise Friday to be at the bedside of her mother, Mrs. Harriet Danielson, who fell and injured her hip. Mr. and Mrs. Parry Hyde and Mrs, Rulon B. Maughan visited with Mr. and Mrs. John Brady at Ogden, Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Theurer were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Olsen at Logan Sunday Miss Martha Leatham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W, P. Leatham, who left recently for the Central States mission. Is now located at 112 A East Jackson at Mexico city, Missouri. Mr. and Mrs. Sol Cranzy of Ixm Angeles, Cal., came here Friday to visit their parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Darley. Mrs. Cranzy was the former Miss Lucille Sunday Darley. They went to Chester, Idaho, Wednesday, accompanied by their sister, Mrs. Comer Williams who lives at Chester, but who had visited here for the past ten days. The Wellsville UTAH 1946 AND OUAIL HUNTING PROCLAMATION WHEREAS, It has become advisable to open a hunting season on pheasants and quail in the State of tah during the year 1946: NOW, THEREFORE, we, the Fish and Game Commission of the State of Utah, by authority of Sections and Utah Code Annotated, 1943, do hereby proclaim and declare that the open hunting season, bag limit and possession limit for pheasants and quail for the year 1946, with exceptions hereinafter stipulated, shall be: 30-0-- 7, 30-0- -8 2, GENERAL PROVISIONS PROVIDED, that no rifle, revolver, or pistol may be used in tne pursuit of pheasants or quail and that no shotgun pellets larger than No. 2 may be used for pheasants and quail hunting. Be is also provided that it shall be unlawful to so mutilate the carcass of any pheasant as to destroy, or attempt to destroy, ' the evidence of sex, either while in transit or in storage. Be it further provided that any area not otherwise mentioned herein may be closed to hunting without further notice as an emergency conservation or measure, by posting suitable signs and markers. to Refer to Sections inclusive, Utah Code Annotated, 1943, for regulations pertaining to shooting on posted areas, and private lands. It is provided by statute that the above rules and regulations shall have full force and effect of law. Any violation thereof shall be considered a misdemeanor and shall be prosecuted as such.
