Sergeant Leon Hall, son of Mr. und Mrs. Russell Hall, returned to his base at Belvoir, Virginia, Tuesday after spending a week here on leave. Leon expects to reecive his discharge from the army soon. Corporal Ray Lowe called Miss Helen Leishman over the phone Sunday from Camp Kilmer, New Jersey. Corporal Lowe had just landed in the state from overseas duty in Europ. Mr. and Mrs. David L. Maughan received a telegram Saturday stating their son, Lieutenant Webhad landed in ster Maughan, New York, after overseas duty in Europe. Mr. and Mrs. George N. Grant has bctln' in the service for the past three years and will receive his release at Fort Douglas January 21. They have a son, Michael. Corporal La Verl Perkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. John Perkins received his discharge from the service after 19i months spent in the Philippines and New Guinea as a gunner with an uiit. He has thre battle stars and has been in the service since October, 1943. La Vels wife is the former Eben Dutson, of Providence. They have one child.
