I Born In Wellsville, December 6. 18G3. Mr. Darley la the son of William Frederick and Jemima B. Thlrkell Darley. Folly Gunnell Darley was also born In Wellsville. July 12, 18C7, a daughW. and ter of Francis Sarah Elizabeth Bickmore Gunnell. They are parents of aix children. five of whom are living. They are Mrs Sara D. Allen, of Ma-laG. Darley, Idaho; Wilham Mrs. Mary D. Murray and Mrs. Evalyn Hill Brenchlcy of Wellsville, and Mrs. Pearl Bird, of Mcndon. They also have 27 grandchildren and 11 j j i d, at a Christmas party Friday evening at the home were WELLSVILLE Mr. and Mrs. Daniel A. Irishman entertained at their home Saturday evening for their 30th wedding anniversary. The luncheon table was decorated beautifully for the occasion and a buffet lunch served to Mr. and Mrs. James A. Lelshman, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Theurer, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Hyde, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph B. Gunnell, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon B. Mr. Maughan, all of Wellsville; and Mrs. V. R. Carver and Mr. and Mrs. Leo C. Nielsen of Hyrum. The evemng was spent playing table games, prizes being won by Mrs. James A. Lelshman and V. R. Carver. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Maughan and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Brenchley of Mr. and Mrs. Brenchley. A delicious hot dinner was served at 8 30 p. m. place cards marked covers for Mr. and Mrs. Luther Mr. and Mrs. Baldwin, Leroy Mrs. Ray and Lcishman, Mr. Lelshman. Mr. and Mrs. Preston Bnnchley, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mrs. Ernest Leatham, Mr. and LcUhman, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lelshman. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Larsen. Dr. and Mrs. G. 9. Francis, Mr. and Mrs. Allan Lelshman. Games were played and Christmas carols sung. Prizes were won by Luther Baldwin, Marjorie Lelshman and Preston Brenchley. Corporal Theron Lelshman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel A. Lelshman, arrived home Friday for a furlough from his base , in Texas. Corporal and Mrs. William M. Darley are in Wellsville spending a furlough from his base In Oklahoma. with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William G. Darley and other relatives. Corporal Arlo Ashman is enjoying a furlough home from New Mexico, a.SOi;f, Mr. and Mrs. EarlHjls Lelshman. Ladies The Junior Literary club are preparing a banquet to be served to the members of the Lions club and partners Wednesday evening when they are entertaining at ladles night. The entertainment is being held at the Floradcll school, with iTesident Charles Cooper in charge. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bankhead, who are making their home in Ogden for the winter, spent the week-en- d here at their home, on account of the death of their seven month old grandson. Gaft Hansen, son of Jack and Fay Bankhead Hansen, who was burled in Logan cemetery Monday. The Wellsville Second ward Relief. Society entertained at a Christmas program and party Rhoda Tuesday with counselor Thorpe in charge. Prayers were by Mrs. Mary J. Parker and Mrs. Emma R. The party will be the first annual Christmas newly organized party of the Lewiston Jaycee chapter. Chester Simmons la chairman of the committee in charge. All Jaycee member who are late for the event will be fined for tardiness.
