January 14 at their home between the hours of 2 and 8 p. m. when open house was held. They were assisted in receiving guests, by their daughters, Mrs. Janie Miller of Wells-vil- l and Mrs. Mary Rasmussen of Brigham City. Mr. Jones was born in Wells-vill- e April 5, 1871, a son of Joseph and Jane Parry Jones. Mrs. Jones was born in Nebraska City, Nebraska, A 3, 1872. August daughter of Joseph and Jane Richmond Brown. She came to Wells ville with her parents when a small child. They were married in the Logan Temple, January 9, 1895. Mr. Jones has been engaged in Mrs. Jones has been farming. active in church affairs being a Relief Society teacher and doing Temple and genealogical work. They had four children, two sons dying in childhood, besides their two daughters, Janie and mary. They have 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. They have two grandsons in the armed forces: Sergeant Loran J. Miller with the Fifth army in Italy, and Clair Rasmussen in the Pacific. A farewell testimonial was held at the Second ward Sunday evening for the following boys who left Wednesday with the draltees from the county: Carl Leishman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron p. Dee Hendry, son of Mrs. Oscar Hendry; Dick Seamons, son of Mr, and Mrs. Arthur Seamons; Reid Parker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Parker; David Haslam, husband of Myrna Peterson Haslam, and son of Mr. and Mrs. Briar Haslam; Frank Price, husband of Ina Bingham, and son of Mr. and Mrs. Vere Price. Bishop Frank Leishman was in charge; prayers were by Bishop Evan H. Bankhead and James A.
