Will the cost of the building and the expense of maintaining it be by county taxes? ' Mutual on Tuesday e.enir.g was well attended. Bowen informed us that the youth council committee had been working upon the possibility of starting again a similar arrangement to the one followed when the USO facilities were first turned over to them. After the lease was up on the building on East Center a renewal could not be obtained for the remuneration asked and then too, the furniture and equipment was the property of the Nationa UJSO. It was removed from' the city. Efforts have been made to secure facilities in the school buildings and in the Armory building, but to date satisfactory arrangements have not been made. The young people in whose interest the committee is working seem to have their own opinion. They do not care to be under the supervision of the schools and they want to be located in or very close to the business district, Mr. TAXI rno.NE 11 30 SOUTH MAIN for your PLUMBING REPAIR CALL BAUGH PLUMBING CO. Bigotry Is diametrically opposed to those principles upon which America was founded and through which it has grown to highest stature among the nations. Bigotry is a mushroom growth which stifles first the plant of one faith and then that of another. No religion is safe if bigotry in any form is allowed to floudish. Race or religious prejudice is not inborn, but is learned. It is based on a or a 'conclusion made in the absence ' of facts to support it.
