A discussion group meeting has been set at 2 p. m.. with representatives of each school partici-patinand at 4:30 p. m., delegates will attend a faculty tea. A demonstration on how to lead a home economics club meeting will be given by Dr. Chester J. Myers, head of the USAC speech depart-men- t at 7:30 p. m., reports will be given on the national home economics club conference by Miss Donne, and the darfforty of fellowship by Betty Adney, Corinne. Saturdays activities will include three major discussion groups on club problems under direction of Mrs- Clarice Engstrom, USAC club advisor. Mrs. Ajax will make a final summary of the workshops Saturday afternoon. There was a fine turnout to both performances- The pupils reindered their parts very well, the program proclaimed as one of the best school programs in years, Llr. and Mrs. Duane Jensen and three small children of Cleveland, were Wednesday to Friday guests the home of Mrs. Willis E. Kearl in Round Valley. Mrs. Jen-- ! sen Is Mrs. Kerls daughter Retha. The ward choirs annual Christ- 'mas party was held at the recre- ation hall Friday evening. Old time dances to tunes played by - - 5-- - the piano; games and the singing of Christmas carols preceded the feature of the evening, the luncheon. A pattern of evergreen branches, with red candles and overhanging colored lights formed the table decoration. The food was delicious: chicken and every, thing to hot chocolate and ice cream and cake. Each of the 34 guests exchanged a Christmas wish for a gift brought around the table in a huge basket by Chorister Lola Johnson, pinch-hittin- g for St. Nicholas. Very much fun was had by all. Dr. and Mrs. Floyd Clark and children of Laramie, Wyo-- . stopped overnight Friday with Mrs. Clarkes parents, Mr, and Mrs. Heber C. Robinson, en route to Newton to spend Christmas with Dr. Clarkes parents there. On Saturday Mr- - and Mrs. Robinson motored to Pocatello, Idaho to Christmas with their spend daughter, Mrs. Sarah Jensen and family, and Miss Melinda Robinson, a Christmas guest at her sisters home. An annual Christmas party under the auspices of the Primary association was held in the ward hall Saturday evening. The pro. gram consisted of verses by the little folks; a play, Why the Chimes Rang; a flag drill, singing by the girls glee club of Christmas carols, a childrens at dance, which Santa appeared with his pack, containing a gift for each child in the ward. The program was presented to a very large audience of parents and friends of the children. Mrand Mrs. Wallace Grandy and children motored to Preston, Idaho Saturday where they visited Mrs. Grandys parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hart and family and welcomed two brothers to Mrs. Hart who were home on leave after two years of absence. MrsGerald Alley and small daughter Margaret accompanied the Grandys as far as Hyde Park, to spend the Yule holiday with her folks, the Herbert Seamons family. Mr. and Mrs. Grandy returned Sunday and went to Paris Christmas morning to spend the day with the Emil Grandy family. Ben T. Orvin took Mesdames ' Tillie and Amy Reed to the bus station at Garden City Saturday morning. They were en route to Ogden to spend the holidays with Jesse and Louis Reed of that city. Clarence Cheney made a trip to Logan Saturday. He took with him Heber Myers, the purpose of their going being to bring Mrs. ! Myers home from a six weeks stay at a hospital. Mrs. Myers is convalescing from a recent oper-- Fred Colburn of Oxford. Idaho spent Tuesday and Wednesday here with their parents Mr. and Mrs. AU-- Hill. Mr. and Mrs. Reid Brenchlcy and two children of Arlmo, Idaho spent the Christmas holiday here with their parents. Mr. and Mrs. John C- - Brenchlcy.
