MUNK partment. He feels that steps should be taken to Improve and regulate the milk supply of tlie City in order to place it on the high plane now held by our meat supply. He believes that this service can be greatly improved by closer cooperation with the State and National agencies. Dr. Munk believes that the citizens of Logan should derive much more income from tourist travel. Our scenic attractions should be more widely advertised. Tourists should be told about the advantages of the Yellowstone Route through Logan Canyon. Our mountains and canyon should be extensively advertised. We should cooperate with such agencies as the Chamber of Commerce in carrying this program into effect. He feels that all needy citzens should have equal opportunities to work on the Public Work Program fostered by Logan City. This work is created to assist all needy residents and all should share the Income thus provided in accordance with their respective needs. Dr. Munk believes that adequate sinking funds should be provided by the City to pay the Indebtedness of the City as it matures and to replace old, antiquated equipment as fast as it should be retired, and if elected he pledges himself to work to that end. (Political Adv, Paid for by Dr. N. E. Munk) provement is possible with- out extra expense. He believes that our splendid roads should be maintained, and improved and more wherever practical, attention should be given to the appearance and beautification of Main Street. Curb and gutter and parking should be extended to tenth north, and much could be done to improve the appearance of South Main. With the government assistance that is available at the present time, the cost should no be excessive. In cases such as exists on Second West between Third and Fourth South where it is possible to shorten the distance that children must walk to school by four or five blocks, attention is necessary. It is his opinion that to secure and keep better and more efficient administration in our health and sanitation program a man should be appointed as the executive for the health board (preferably a licensed or registered specialist), and that representatives of the different distributing agencies, such as the gTOcerymen, the restaurant men, meat venders, the bakers and milk men, and some representatives from the consumers, men who know the probe ms and conditions which exist, should be lnivted in and given a voice in the framing of regulations that govern 'them. ' He believes that we all know to travel as a tourist and enis almost necessary for a party of two or three joy our trip,-I- t to have a ten dollar hill for every day they are out, so he thinks we should advertise and make every effort to get the tourist to come our way and stay as long as possible. We should use our best efforts to secure the appointment of a chief of police who has the ability to get and keep the confidence of our young people who make mistakes, and be a friend and counselor for them. One who would instruct hi men that the old, the young, the rich, and the poor should all receive the same treatment. He is of the opinion that all public officials should keep in mind that they are serving the public, and the public is not serving them. He believes that considering the average income of the citizens of Logan, the salaries of the Mayor and Commissioners, are out of proportion for part time services, and if elected will recommend reductions. Should he get the urge to increase salaries as many of our politicians do, he pledges himself to give the men in the lower income, brackets' the first consideration.
