D. Allen. The program in the canyon will be held during the day with the program commencing at 3 p.m. Community singing will be led by A. J. Peterson, chairman of the musical portion of the program, after which Carl B. Arentsen, supervisor of the Cache National forest, will give the presentation speech. He will present the park to citizens of Hyrum and Cache Valley for future use. Acceptance speeches will be given by Mayor Louis P. Maughan of Hyrum, and Commissioner William Worley of Logan. The park will then be named. H. R. Adams, who has been appointed as chairman of the name will give the name, which was chosen by members of from a list of the committee names submitted by citizens as a suitable name for the park, which Is certainly one of the meet beautiful spots in the intermountain region. Musical numbers will be furnished by local talent, after which soft ball games, horse shoe pitching and other sports will be enjoyed. During the evening of the same day, Hyrum city will celebrate, the program commencing at 7 p.m. The South -- Cach - High - School band will furnish a number of se- lections, and solo parts from mem- -, bers of the band, under the direc- tion of Wm. H. Terry. At 7:15 p.m. all lights in town will be extin guished and people are asked to use candles or lamps during this 15 minutes of darkness. Switches will be set for the lights on the "White Way, and a glamorous display of colored lights on the public square will also be turned on. A temporary platform will be erected in front of the Elite Hall and a loud speaker Installed so the audience can hear the speakers and music without any inconvenience. Mayor Louis P.
