Hectics famous In American history are authentically reproduced in tlie picture and many famous characters of tlie Civil War are reborn again upon the screen Abraham Lincoln, Allan Pinkerton, Pauline Cushman, General "Jeb" Stuart, and many other historical names. If tin rc were no plot whatsoever, and jurt Rex, pranking t v r the ir.ovis, miraculously controlling a great band of wild horses, making contended horse love to his n wife, Lady, fighting with the hero. Marquis, and ripping a lion and a cruel man to pieces with equal facility and ease. King of the Wild Horses", would still offer enough stimulation to attract any audience and hold it on the edge of its seats, open mouth' ed. In addition to Rex, Lady, Marquis and the herd of two thousand wild horses who stampede through the granite-rocke- d canyons more thunderously and frighteningly even than the buffalo in The Thundering Herd" or the elephants in Chang, there is a delicate and beautiful story of the love of an Indian brave and his maiden. William Janney and Dorothy Appelby, the only white people playing Indian roles, look as much like the Navajos as the Indians themselves. Briefly the story tells of the nefarious plans of MacDonald to capture a band of Navajo horses. vil-lia- MENDON Dr. and Mrs. Lynn Stauffer spent Tuesday and Wednesday visiting relatives at Preston.
