In the discussion it was agreed that the various representatives could line up on dates so there would be no conflicts and each place would contract its own stock and attractions. The local committee for the Frontier Days and Rodeo Celebration will meet soon and make contracts for the rodeo stock. Court Schedules Arraignment For Holdup Suspects Arraignment of Archie Claypool and Floyd Coleman, 23, both o t Smithfield, on charges of attempt-e- d grand larceny, is scheduled for 19, Monday at 10 a. m. before Judge Jesse P. Rich, according City to County Attorney Newell G. Daines. Claypool and Coleman are alleged to have attempted to hold up Carl Anderson at his home, January 20. Delay in prosecution of this case was caused by the inability of Claypool to be present, as he was in a hospital suffering from a gunshot wound alleged to have been received during the alleged attempted robbery. Claypool was released from th hospital February 29, according to hospital records. Immediately upo his release he was placed under arrest by Sheriff Jeff Stowell, later being released under a $1000 bond. Coleman Is also at liberty under a similar bond, Judge Rich said. |
