Rowan C. Stutz. Only 16 out of the 82 regulartime teachers are new to the district, Mr. Stutz reports. This turnover represents three out of the elementary schools and 13 for the high schools. In the elementary schools, new teachers are one each at Duchesne, Roosevelt and Tabiona. In the high schools, the new teachers are listed as four at Altamont, three at Duchesne, four at Tabiona and two at the Roosevelt Junior High. There are 82 full-tim- e teachers employed in the Duchesne County School District for the 1955-5- 6 term, compared with 85 for the past school year, Supt. Stutz said. This total does not include three half-tim- e and one full-tim- e kindergarten teachers. Supt. Stutz describes the slight teacher turnover in this district as a healthy condition.
