The break is reported to be in Lie An enjoyable trip which included driving over beautiful Wolf Creek Summit, down Echo Canyon, and including Bear Lake country and Evanston, Wyoming, was enjoyed by Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Smith, and Christine and Irene Chavez, on their recent motor tour to Idaho, to help Mrs. Smiths parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Hansen, celebrate their fifty-fift-h wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Hansens 6 sons and daughters from three states and their husbands and wives and their twenty-thre- e grandchildren and seven were all in Rexburg to make the family party complete. The sons and daughters are: Chancy Hansen, Lewisville, Idaho; Robert Hansen, Toppen-ish- , Wash.; Kenneth Hansen, Salem, Idaho; Mrs. Parley Jack-soand Rex Hansen, Rexburg; and Mrs. Ralph Smith, Tabiona. Rex-bur- g, n Mr. and Mrs. Bud Nye and son, Floyd, of Duchesne, were Tabiona visitors, Thursday. Among the Roosevelt visitors Friday were Lawrence Maxwell, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Nye and daughter, LaRena. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clark enjoyed a motor trip to Calif, and adjacent states. Dale Gines, of the U. S. Navy, recently visited at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Moral Gines. DUCHESNE SHOP ankle, which suddenly turned while going down steps. She was at a sawmill near Kamas, where her husband has employment, when the accident occurred. She is reported convalescing at home now after the bones were set in place by a physician. We wish her a quick and complete recovery. Malta Young Is School Scribe both the high and elementary grades in the school and the Swallow seminary. Principal will endorse the news of the school at a regular press conference with the school reporter at least once each week and will officially authorize news releases for the school. The reporter will work with the regular Tabiona news reporter, Mrs. Thelma D. Nye, in preparing copy, with the school news included as part of the news from this area. Malta is a sophomore student at the school and expresses an interest in learning journalism and should gain valuable experience as the school reporter. She is a member of the Church of Jesus, Christ of Latter - day Saints, teaches Sunday School and Primary, and is active in all church, civic and school programs. She is a member of the high school band and attended the Summer Music Clinic at Brigham Young University during the summer. Teachers and student officers can help Malta do a creditable news reporting assignment by reporting their special projects and activities to her. School News Young, School Reporter The Tabiona Tigers registered a victory over the Duchesne Eagles in their first sports encounter this year, when they won the baseball game played at Duchesne by a score of The pitching of Myrthan Defa, with Vernon White holding down the catchers position, were big factors in the win. They have also studied the 31 kinds of rock and have had Mr. James Knight, of the High School, visit their class and discuss rocks with them. The fourth, fifth and sixth grades in Mrs. Michies and Mrs Colletts rooms are studying music, art and learning rhythm by folk dancing together. They are also learning to sight read music. Hayle Buchanan, principal of the Tabiona Seminary, reports an enrollment of 62 in Seminary work this year. He reports that every student from the ninth to the eleventh grades in the Tabiona High School is enrolled in Seminary. The students of the seventh and eighth grades also take Junior Seminary. Other members of the family who were present were Mrs. Hart, of Duchesne; Mr. and Mrs. Del Combs and son. Gary, of Talmage, and R. C. Walker, of Salt Lake City. Mr. Hart celebrated his 85th birthday on Oct. 1st, but the family gathering was scheduled for Sunday. He was born Oct. 1, 1868 in Cook County, Pennsylvania and spent his boyhood in Iowa and Wisconsin. He married Ida May Boone in Neilsville, Wisconsin, and later moved to Aspen, Colo., where the family resided until 1910, when Mrs. Hart and daughter joined Mr. Hart, who came to the Uintah Basin in 1909, to file on a homestead on the Blue Bench.
