Nys Old Is 13-Ye- ar A - To Wad !n Frosh Initation Cake Winner County Girl from Tabiona was declared the blue ribbon winner for her cherry angel food cake in the open class foods division at the Utah State Fair last week. This extraordinary achievement was the happy lot of Linda Lee Thomas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Je'p Thomas, of Tabiona. Her cake, sent to the fair, with the regular dollar entrance fee was judged against cakes made by women and girls of all ages. Her feat is even more remarkable when we realize that her mother is now blind as a result of illness, and is unable to do more than instruct with words, Linda Lees cooking exploits but expert cake baking seem to be a family trait from mother to two older sisters, Ina and Irene, all of whom are fine cake experts and also very wonderful cooks in all ways.
