Eighteen MIA girls received individual awards, presented by Mrs. Payne. Mrs. Ethel Injures Feet, Lea In Nay Baler George Fisher, Jr., escaped serious injury Sunday while baling hay. He was tromping hay in the baler and had turned the machine off; but before it had completely stopped, he began pushing the hay in with his foot. The bale caught and mashed his foot and wrenched his hip and knee. JKe was taken to Roosevelt for medical care. Mr. and Mrs. Von Timothy and sons, and Mr. and Mrs. Charley Timothy and family, of Bonanza, spent the weekend In Altonah. Mrs. Beta Hobbs, of Gardenia. California; Mrs. Vera Hill, of Provo, and Buford Hill, of Duchesne, were weekend guests of Mrs. Elva Snyder. Sunday Mrs. Snyder went with them to Wellington to visit her brother, George Hill. Mrs. Lucy Jacobson looked after the post office during her absence. Mr. and Mrs. Reay Jetten are the proud parents of a new baby boy, born July 20 in the Roosevelt Hospital. Mother and baby are doing fine. This is the Jessens first boy. They have two girls. . The Beebe family reunion was held Saturday and Sunday at the Clarence Jones resort on the Yellowstone River. The ceremony was performed at the home of the brides parents in Altamont by Bishop Gardner Goodrich of the Bluebell Ward. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Mathews, of Bluebell, are parents of the bridegroom, and Mr. and Mr. LeRoy Thacker, of Altamont, are parenta of die bride. Nona Mathews, sister of the bridegroom, was maid of honor, and Mias RaNae Stevenson, niece of the bride, was bridesmaid. Fred Mathews, brother of the groom, was best man.
