March 17. 1152 Carla Can TABIONA Music Program Presented Dy Tcblona Hi Group A large crowd enjoyed the music concert presented by all the music students of the Tabiona schools, under the direction of W. Grant Peel Friday evening. For the first time a Junior Band has Been organized at the Tabiona School, under the supervision of Mr. Peel. This group, composed of Elementary and Junior High School students made their first public appearance Friday playing America, Junior Band March, Shadowland Waltz and Easy Steps March. The second part of the concert was presented by the Senior High School Mixed Chorus, also a first year organization. They were a decided hit as they sang My Own America.sby Wrubel; The Desert Song, by Romberg; The Orchestra Song, by Shuman; Invocation, by Moore; Stout Hearted Men, by Bombers; and Your Land and My Land, by Romberg. The concert climax was presented by the Tabiona High School Senior Band as they played Pioneer Overture by Ma- three-pa- rt . Lynn Curry Is Tabiona High Rotary Delegate n Principal Robert Van announces that Lynn Curry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Or-i- n . Curry, - of Hanna, has been chosen as the outstanding senior boy at Tabiona High School He is attending the Rotary Youth. Conference in Salt Lake City this week. Lynn was chosen on the basis of scholarship, activity, leadership, and tffiurch and civic leadership. He is currently serving as student body president of the school and has previously served secretary of the student body. He is a member of the school paper staff, participates actively in the school , athletic program and rates among the up per ten percent in scholarship. He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and participates in ward and stake activities.
