Show Elicit ah Mrs. Elhal Baaba New Officers For Relief Society The second counselor and retary and treasurer of the secRe- lief Society has been chosen Mrs. Vernia Allred was chosen as second counselor, and Mrs. Norma Jessen as sercetary and treasurer. The new president is Mrs. Ada Ames, and Mrs. LaRue Fisher is first counselor. Clinton Bowden took his wife to Roosevelt, Monday, for treat ment for infection in her foot, caused when she jumped on a pitch fork. She was confined to the hospital for several days. Mr. and Mrs. Jennis Oman and daughters, of Salt Lake City, spent from Friday until Sunday with Mrs. Omans parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hans Jacobsen. Mr. Jacobsen is seriously ill from several slight strokes. Louis Reese, manager of the R.E.A., and Harold Fowler, secretary of the R.E.A., made a business trip to Salt Lake City, Monday, and were unable to get home until Wednesday, due to closed roads between Kimball Junction and Heber. Mrs. Bernice Morris and daughter, of Lapoint, are here visiting with Mrs. Morris father Mr. and Mrs. and mother-in-laHarold Morris. Mrs. Blaine Corbin and son, Homer, returned home Saturday from Salt Lake City, where Homer had his tonsils removed last week. Mr. and Mrs. James Powell and family, of Cedarview. visited relatives in Altonah, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Kone and family, of Gusher, visited Mrs. Kones father, George Mecham, Saturday. Mrs. William Ralphs is convalescing at the home of her and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Powell, in Nephl, after an operation for a nose ailment and other medical care in Salt Lake City.
