Their was other child, drowned about a year ago in the canal near their home. Mrs. Harold Jones and two sons left Thursday for their home in Malad, Idaho, after neariy a months visit here. Mrs. Jones was formerly Miss Mabel Rust. Officers of the various irrigation companies under the Moon Lake system met at the ward house Thursday afternoon to receive instructions concerning the water set-ufor the season. Presiding at the session was Horace L. Allred, president of the Moon Lake Water Users Association. Also present to discuss the water situation were B. O. Colton, water commissioner; Louie Galloway, manager of the Moon Lake Water Users, and Bruce Fitzgerald, president of the Dry Gulch Patricia, ay Irrigation Co. The High School band, and several vocal groups took part in the Regional Music Festival at Price last Friday and Satur-uaBand Leader Hal Barton ana Mrs. Edythe Hansen, accompanist, went with the students. Mrs. La Veda Titcomb went witn them as chaperone for the girls. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Carpenter, of Manti, visited at the Rust, home Thursday and Friday. Mr. and Mrs. LaFarge Dastrup and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Dastrup motored to Price Saturday morning to attend the Musical Festival. On Saturday Mrs. Vola Hancock, physical education instructor, took her posture group to Provo to participate in the posture parade. Principal Hyrum and Mrs. Olive Loutensock Thompson took in this event, later moving on to Price in time to see the Altamont band perform. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Mecham, of Salt Lake City, spent the week end with Mrs. lna Mecham and Mrs. Mary Snyder. Carol Elliot, of Salt Lake, visited at the LeRoy Thacker home Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen and baoy daughter, of Provo, are spending a week at the Lyndon Hansen home, and with other relatives in Arcadia. Mrs. Neil Murray, of My ton, spent most of the week here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. eGorge Rogers. On Thursday her father took her to Salt Lake for medical care. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Thacker moved to raper Friday, where they will have charge of a poultry farm belonging to Michel-soBros. Their cnildren will join them when school closes. Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Peterson and Mrs. R. M. Brandon came out from Salt Lake Friday to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Mecham. The Petersons returned home Sunday, while Mrs. Brandon remained for a longer visit. Mrs. Brandon is Mrs. Petersons and Mrs. Mechams mother. Mrs. Albert Case, of Ivanhoe, Calif., was a guest Friday and Saturday at the Floyd Case home. Mrs. Case, a former has been in Texas for two months visiting a son. She is spending a week with relatives in the Basin before returning to California. y. Ralph returned the same day, while Mrs. Dart went on to St. George for a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alien Drollinger. Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Flagolia spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. James Lloyd and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lemon. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Johanson, of Salt Lake, spent a few days here last week looking after their property interests. Howard Jones left Monday to enter the Veterans hospital in Salt Lake. Mrs. Percy Potts and daughter, of Upalco, visited at the W. G. Gentry home Monday evening. n. Mrs. Johnny Lambert and small son, Denny, and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Goodrich and family, visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson. The birthday party, Sunday, in the kindergarten class honored Billy Jones, Karen Lowry and Ralph Dart. Each child had a formal introduction to the Sunday School superintendency, which pleased the youngsters very much. Mrs. Vera Jenson and her father, John Lemon, of Peoa, visited in Ioka Sunday. Mrs. Jenson returned to Peoa, Sunday, while Mr. Lemon remained for a weeks visit with his son, Reed Lemon, and family.
