Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Beebe and acchildren, Kathryn and Joan,Rock-hil- l, Hannah Mrs. companied by were in Roosevelt Saturday. Mrs. Troy Bailey left for Salt Lake City Monday where she will visit with relatives for some time. Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Jacoby and two children, Betty Jo and Jerry, accompanied by Douglas Lindsay, were in Salt Lake City .Sunday, for the purpose of visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jacobys little daughter, Julie, who is confined in the Salt Lake General Hospital, suffering from poliomyelitis. They report that there is a slight improvement in the childs condition. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Nelson entertained at a birthday dinner Sunday in honor of their daughter, Lena Mae Thomas. Those in attendance in addition to the host and hostess were Mr. and Mrs. Dave Thomas, Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Thomas and Mrs, Elizabeth Thomas. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Leavitt of Price, and Heien and Sharon MacLead, of Carbonvllle, were in Duchesne visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Partridge Tuesday. Mr. Leavitt is a son of Mrs. Mac-Lea- n Partridge and the Misses are granddaughters of Mr. and Mrs. Partridge. We wish to take this opportunity to express our appreciation and to thank our many friends for the kind consideration shown us during our recent bereavement caused by the death of our beloved father and husAlso for the assistance band, and words of sympathy extended to us, and for the beautiful floral offerings.
