Mr. and Mrs Verlyn Stewart are home on a furlough. Mr. Stewart has been stationed at Camp Roberts, California, A number of people from this town were over tp Altamont for the 24th of July celebration. Mr. and Mrs. Dell Anderson and sons, Dale and Olaf, were in Salt Lake on business last week. Miss Carol Taylor returned home with hem for a short visit. A number of mutual girls and officers left for Timpanogos Cave, Monday July 31. Mr. and Mrs Harold Thompson and family of Talmage, were visiting here Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rust who have been visiting relatives and friends while on Mr. Rusts furlough, returned to camp. Mr. Wayne Wilkens and Mr. Ray Marchant are now hauling the milk for Lamberts creamery. Mrs. O. J. Anderson and Mrs. Thelma Lindsay accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Harold Thompson to Price, where Mrs. Thompson is receiving medicla attention. They returned home Sunday. Miss Joy Stevenson is visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Brigham Stevenson. Mr. Albert Bishop, left to visit his brother, John, in Latuda before entering the navy, August 2. Miss Wenona Wilkens, who has been working at the Salt Lake post office, has been visiting with her mother, Mrs. Lillias Wilkens, for several days. Mr. G. E. Nyberg who has spent most of the summer in Mtn. Homle returned to his home in Ephraim for over the 24th. He is now back staying with his son, Don Nyberg. Primary graduation was held at the Ward Hall Sunday, July 30. The graduating boys and girls presented the program. A number of things which had 'been made by the girls were on display, which showed that the officers and teachers have made a big success of Primary this year in our little town. Miss Norma Jean McMullin from Indian Bench is visiting at the home of her cousin, Miss Ramona Stewart. Shanks. Arva and Donna Lang returned home Friday after a visit in Salt Lake. Mrs. Condie Crandall is visiting In Springville. Mr. and Mrs. George Thompson of American Fork are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Herb Lang. Ruby Opal of Vernal is visiting at the Levis home this week. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Brown and family were in Roosevelt on business Monday. Mr. and Mrs . Warren Strong spent the week end in Provo and Salt Lake. Bert Sweat took his son, Delaln to Heber Wednesday for medical care. The little boy has a case of tick fever. His grandmother, Mrs. C M Sweat is taking care of him while his mother is away.
