Dart accompanied by their daughter, Mrs. Arthur Leigh, who has been visitfrom Ely, Nevada, left here ing Thursday for Minesota where they will make a short visit with Mr. Leigh who is attached to an aviation division there. Anouncement has been received of the arrival of a son, born to Mr. and Mrs. Keith Peatross at Provo on Sunday, uly 12th. Mr. and Mrs. John Nick are the proud parents of an infant daughter, born Sunday, July 12, at the Ft. Duchesne hospital. District Commander and Mrs. James Dalgeish and District Service Officer Roland Krebs attended the meeting of Duchesne Post No. 22, the American Legion at Duchesne Wednesday evening where Mr. Dalgleish installed the new officers of that Post. Dr. and Mrs. S. Saunders and two children and Miss Elizabeth Gentry of Salt Lake City were Myton visitors Sunday. Dr. and Mrs. Saunders have been vacationing in Roosevelt and vicinity which Miss Gentry and the children spent a week at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Gentry of Ioka. Mr. and Mrs. Matt Uresk recently received a letter from their son, Antonio, who is stationed at Ft. Lewis, Washington, bringing them the ylad news that he was now sergeant. Tony had been a corporal only two weeks when he received this promotion. Bill Peatross who was recently inducted into the service is stationed at Ft. Douglas in a cavalry division, according to news received by his mother, Mrs. W. S. Peatross. om UTAH CHAIN STORES of their sister, Mrs. Fay Anderson. Mr. Glen Draper, a former Myton resident, visited here Friday accompanying E. W. Kronquist of Ft. Duchesne on an official visit of this district. Mr. Draper is auditor in the Indian irrigation service and has been stationed in Los Angeles, California. Mrs. Draper and children are visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. V. Johnson, near Roosevelt during their short vacation. Darrell Dean who is employed in Salt Lake City is visiting with his family on their ranch west of home mRS SOMfWlM to r Mrs. Florence Adams who has' been employed at the Nutter ranch during the haying season returned to her home at Bluebell Wednesday. Nancy Todd and Mona Frandsen spent the week end at the Clyde Wing ranch as guests of June and Rhea Wing. ' Philip Todd is visiting with the Wallace Dennis family on South Myton Bench. Miss Alma Lou Lott who recently underwent an operation in Salt Lake City, is now convalescing at the home of Mrs. R. C. Harold Mecham left Sunday morning on the bus for his training camp, Fort Ord, California, having spent a week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otis Me- Mrs. Pete Wall was taken to the L.D.S. hospital early last week in a critical condition. Mr. Wall left Sunday morning for Salt Lake after receiving word that an operation was necessary for his wifes recovery. Mrs. Fay Reay and two small children have been in Salt Lake City for some time where she has been receiving medical attention. Her husband went to the city on Saturday to be with Mrs. Reay during an operation for appendicitis. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Peterson and children of Salt Lake City were guests of Mrs. Petersons parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Hansen, several days last week.
