EDDY DRUG STORE I High compliment to the efficiency of the Utah Poultry Producers Cooperative associations marketing system is paid in petitions by foreign producer groups asking the Utah organization to extend its marketing operations into Colorado and Missouri, it was announced Sunday. If the petitions are approved, the sales volume of the Utah cooperative will be swelled Immediately by 600 carloads of eggs annually and eventually the increase may exceed 1000 carloads, it is explained. The state associations present export volume varies from 1200 to 2000 carloads a year, but the additional volume would greatly benefit local producers by reducing sales costs per unit. The petitioners are the Colorado Egg and Poultry Cooperative association, with headquarters at Denver, and the Producers Cold Storage company, a cooperative branch of the at Missouri Farmers association, 1 Shelblna, Mo.
