Immediately after the Republican convention held in this city October 6th, it was the consensus of opinion of most of the people of the county that the Republican ticket put up for county election was by far the strongest ticket in the field. This fact is being upheld by the attendance at the rallies and the spirit in which they are received. An outstanding feature of the rallies so far, is the fact that the candidates hold themselves strictly to county issues and problems and not national issues, which cannot be affected in any way by the results of a county election.
