MARBLE OF DEWEYVILLE DIES Information SUE United States ormer Bishop Expires Post Commander Urges All to Respond to Wednesday After Long Illness. Poppy Sale. Daniel B. Marble, 65, former bishop of the Deweyville ward, died Wednesday at 8 p. m. at the family home in Deweyville, after a lingering illness. Mr. Marble was born in Brigham City, July 20, 1867, a son of Henry L. and Mary Burbank Marble. He moved to Deweyville with his parents when two years of age, and has resided there since that time. He was a farmer by occupation and had been Instrumental In the growth and development of Deweyville, where he served as school board member, justice of the peace, counselor in the bishopric, later bishop of the ward, and in other capacities. He married Mary Hansen of Deweyville about forty years ago, who, with nine children survive, as follows: Bishop Milton Marble of Both well; Haloid Marble of Ogden; Mrs. Dr. Grant M. Evans of Murray; Irving, Roy, Grant, Homer and Lydia Marble, all of Deweyville; also nine grand children; two brothers, Lyman and Nathaniel Marble and Mrs. Edwin Glttens, all of Deweyville. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 1 p. m. at the Deweyville ward L. D. S. chapel. Bishop M. G. Perry conducted the services. Interment was in the Deweyville cemetery. 13.
