Davis, chairman of the contact committee determining unemployment conditions here and formulating plans for relief of those who will need help during the coming winter, advises that plans are under way to give a public dance in the near future at the Bluebird ballroom, the entire proceeds of which will be used as a nucleus for the fund. Messrs. W. C. Call and Orlando Petersen, managers of the Bluebird, ballroom, have offered the use of the hail free, the Merry Makers orchestra, directed by Vern Nelson, has proffered free music and The Box Elder News is printing, free of charge, a large number of tickets for the dance. Persons interested, will be given an opportunity to buy one or as many of these tickets they choose. The definite date of the dance has not been fixed but a is being named to work out details.
