C. Lahman of Bucyrus, Ohio. The boy was taken to the hospital at Tremon-to- n for attention. His injuries were quite serious, but he is reported to be getting along favorably. According to the report, Mr. Lahman, accompanied by his wife and two children, were returning from afl visit with relatives at Yakima, Ore., and were driving south on the Elwood road. The Munns boy was on the opposite side of the highway, also going south in an express w'agon, which he was pushing with one foot. As he approached the boy, Lahman says he honked the horn and slowed down a little. Just before reaching the intersection north of the Elwood school house, the lad swerved over in front of the car.
