The life drama of a beautiful (young American woman who followed a Frenchman around the world only to MU herself in despair when she ftiaHy found him in Paris, la concealed In the story of Rosa Shannessy, 29, of Minneapolis. The Frenchman was known at ttie girls flat under the name of "Monsieur Dupont," but the American consulate, while not divulging his real name, admits that he la a member of a high French family and nephew of the owner of a Paris paper who he successfully hushed up all avenues of Information. The story, so far as It Is known, tell how Miss Shannessy met and fell In love with the Frenchman, who Is yoilng snd distinguished looking, when the latter was on a diplomatic mission In China. Thev became engaged to marry but quarreled, after which he returned to Paris without, saying good-bBroken hearted.
