A motion Instructing the secretary of the club to send copies of the raolutlon and letters explaining the mining committee1 action was adopted at th end of an address made bv A. G. Mackeflue, secretary of th Utah chapter of the American Mining congreos. In, a brief address Mr. Mackenzie told of the event of the Denver conference of the American Mining congress. Especial interest was shown In the resolution adopted by th convention advocating staolllaatlon of the worlds silver market. The rest of the time of the committee was taken up ,lth a discussion of plans for the proposed celebration of th sixtieth anniversary of the location of ths first mining claim in Utah. A th project now stands, it will, be one of great interest to everyone and of especial benefit to th mining Industry.
