Mrs. Obenchain in this statement, which was made In the district attorney's office "and taken down by a court stenog- rapber, said ahe went driving with Kennedy on the afternoon of August 5. They went to a beach resort and sat on the sand until afterdark, shs said. It was at the beach . where, she declared, she told Kennedy she thought they ought to break the engagement.
