Tlie following program was rendered: Piano solo, Mrs. Vere Hansen; reading, Mrs. George Johnson; vocal duet, Daisy and Seiena Madsen. At a late hour a delicious tray luncheon was to ten guests present. served Mrs. A. G. McFarland entertained at a birthday party Saturday afternoon in honor of the ninth birthday anniversary of her little daughter, Thelma. The children were entertained in games on the lawn and refreshments were served to ten. and Mrs. Harold Olsen and Mr. and Mrs. Norm Nelson entertained at a delightfully arranged St. Patricks party at the Olsen home last Saturday evening. At 8 oclock a delicious hot e luncheon was served at five small tables eacto of w'hieh was centered with a low bowl of Pussy Willow's. The place cards, favors and menu were carried out in St. Patrick design. Following luncheon, Bridge was played and high score prizes were awarded Mrs. Orion Eskelson for ladles, and Mr. Scott Horsley for men, while Mr. Orval Sackett was awarded the consolation prize. OF THE WEEK three-cours- The Home Economics Club met on Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Alma Thompson. Mrs. Lorenzo Bott was present and gave a talk on the making of hooked and braided rugs, after which Miss Erma Marble and Miss Zella Skidmore entertained with two musical selections. Mrs. Orson Korth gave a talk on table etiquette and the proper way of setting a table. At the close of the meeting, refreslv-ment- s were served by Mrs. Alf Freeman and Mrs. Claud Stacey.
