One of the prominent residents of Corinne was in Biigliam yesterday to do some shopping and he reported the highway between this city and Corinoe in urgent need of repairs. Several autob have been mired west of town and the road is almobt Impassible in spots great pools of water being retained in the roadway because the tenter is lower than the sides. Now is the time to get onto the roads with a .heavy drag'and round them up to permit the standing water to run off and the roads to dry out. A little work right now will save scores of Hollars in expense later on. RESOLUTION. Whereas, the City Council of Brigham City has been petitioned by citizens and taxpayers of Brlgbac City to cause to be constructed additional sidewalks as hereinafter described; And, whereas, the Council deems it for the best interests of the City and the citizens thereof that such improvements be made; Now', therefore, be it resolved that the wishes of the property owners referred to be compiled with and that said paving district be created, assessments made, bids advertised for and such steps taken as the law requires for the creation oi said district; Now, therefore, be it further resolved that the .Mayor and City Recorder be and they are hereby authorized to have published for the time required by law In at least one newspaper having general circulation w ithin the City the following notice of intention to make the improvements as in said notice set out: , Notjee of Intention.
