Conrad and Ernest Steffen, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Steffen, went over to laigan yesterday to enroll in the Students Army Training Corps at the A. C. Mr. Joseph Jensen came (town from Sa Anthony, Ida., to be present at the funeral services over the remains of the late Mrs. Martin Rasmussen. Heber Anderson has returned to her home in Salt Lake, after attending the funeral services over the of her sister, Mrs. Etta Edwards. Plncoek at Sugar City Idaho. Miss Lillian Funk and Mr. Vinsiun Funk have returned home from Evanston, Wyoming, whither they went some time ago to visit their fathet Miss Lily Knudson came home from lxgaii to spend the week end visiting relatives. Prof. John Henry Evans of Salt Lake City, was in Brigham on Sunday attending the Religion Class lie delivered two splendid addresses before the Stake Religion Class workers. During his stay in the 'city, Prof. Evans was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Hansen. Mr. H. S. Ensign, secretary of the Montana State Fair, arrived in Brigham Friday evening and joined Mrs. Ensign who preceded him to this city ten days ago. They spent Saturday visiting relatives at Honeyville wad then proceeded on to Salt Lake to spend Fair week and Conference visiting relatives and old friends. Mr. Leslie Peck of Cove, Oregon, is visiting in Brigham with his nephew, S. C. Wixom and family. Mr. Peck came down to enter the Students Axmjr Training Corps at the A. C., but on applying at the college was Informed that the training school was open only to men of the draft of Sept. 12th. Mr. Peck had registered on the registration date previous to Sept. 12 Captain Charles R. Mabey of Bountiful, was in Brigham for a short while on Friday, visiting Dr. and Mrs. R. T. Willey and family. Captain Mabey commanded one of the companies of the 145th Field Artillery for some (time and then was transferred to Fort Sill and given command of one of the departments of the Officers Training School in which work he is now engaged. Captain Mabey was home on a brief furlough. Elliot Wight, son of Mr. and Mrs., Charles Wight, Is home from San De-tgCal., whither he went some weeks ago to enter the naval training school. Upon being examined It was found that Mr. Wight had to undergo an operation and he Is now Just out of the hospital and was sent home by the .doctor to recuperate under his mothers care.
